Complete factory spec. connecting rod assembly.
2 pieces (2 con rods, pair). High quality connecting rod assemblies including gudgeon pin bushes, conrod nuts and bolts to suit Triumph 500cc, 650cc pre-unit construction models 1938-56. 5T, TR5, T100, T110, 6T etc.
These new conrods are shell conversion specially manufactured to replace the early white metal big end conrods fitted to early pre-unit cranks. They take unit construction 350, 500 conrod bearing shells. Your engineer should determine what size bearings are to be used when the crank journals are inspected.
Approx. length from big end centre to small end centre 6 1/2"
Please note: Big end shell bearings are not included in this sale. We have these listed for sale, please purchase the required size. You will also notice a standard nut fitted to the conrod bolts and then a lock nut on top . The standard nuts are only there to protect the thread. When the caps are removed and big end shells are fitted, the standard nut will no longer be required. Please use the lock nut for final fitment.
